Life can be really difficult!

Sometimes it can feel like we're wading though mud and muck that life keeps throwing at us. 

Of course, there are beautiful parts of life, but difficulty always shows up, and sometimes it can seem like that’s all there is.

  • Having analysis paralysis, where you overanalyze or overthink problems or plans and then are unable to make a decision about what to do or put a plan into action.

  • Feeling like the body is full of tension all the time.

While I can't stop the world from throwing mud and muck at you, I can help you learn ways to move through these difficulties without it sucking you down into a deep, muddy pit, and to help you rise above that mud where you can see the beautiful parts of life more clearly.

Hi, I'm Lacey Schmidt!

I’m a clinical psychologist, a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher, and fellow human being.

My training in mindfulness and meditation greatly influences my work with clients. My own experience with mindfulness practice and how it can be invaluable to get through tough times, led me to become a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher so that I can teach others these transformative skills in the context of therapy. I find that because difficulty is an inevitable part of life, we can use mindfulness as a superpower to help us navigate all the twists and turns that it throws at us, and to connect more with the beautiful parts of life.
